How To Spot & Block Bad People (iQ3)

Protect Yourself From Liars, Imposters & BSers

The Best (And Worst) Ways to Spot a Liar  ⬆  Images Hyperlinked

There's a game going on older than you are, and digital distraction, disinformation, and

Trump's MAGA style fake news only magnified and muddled it. Which is why otherwise

brilliant people, reputed organizations and leaders are increasingly being duped on a

daily basis. In the Phishing and Original Social Engineering series, we explored, and

saw professional imposters at work, — BSing/bullshitting & worming their way into

every strategically necessary favor needed. BSing, for our purposes, includes the

silent treatment, lying, backstabbing & conniving grifter. Narcissists often also

rise to powerful positions that way. Precisely why I am so explicit about my

ethics. However, don't become a hater while fighting narcissism. You only

make bad & fake friends who're interested in you for recompense when

you worry about pleasing others. I do not. Unapologetically pleasing

God, or being ethical, and, doing the right thing is true leadership.

Most people will continue to be deceived because they have not

made a determined or lasting commitment to block nefarious

and dishonest/shady characters from their lives. That's why

Pamela Meyer is absolutely right — in her assertion about

lying being a collaborative act. I have witnessed prac-

tically everything she asserts; written/blogged my

experiences with liars, including so-called shady

characters unaware we have a joke in Security

that says: Just cuz you say you're anonymous

doesn't mean you're anonymous.  From the

Distancing Language and Behavior to Ver

-bal Dodging, Concealment and Duping

Delight as well as behavioral/body

language slips, negative attitudes

or, hostile behavior toward the

object(s) of deceit or scheme.
